Olivia Duncan Ikey

Olivia Ikey Duncan est une Inuk mixte de Kuujjuaq, Nunavik et Québec. Elle est une porte-parole de son peuple, une créatrice de beaucoup de choses et une mère d’enfants Inuks et canadiens-français.

Olivia travaille principalement dans les domaines de la réconciliation, de l’éducation et de l’autodétermination des Inuits au 21e siècle, mais certaines de ses passions cachées incluent également l’écriture et les arts.

En tant que nouvelle écrivaine, elle a travaillé avec Niap et a également remporté la catégorie écriture inuite aux Éditions Hannenorak avec ses poèmes intitulés Nuna Poems.

Olivia Ikey Duncan is a mixed Inuk from Kuujjuaq, Nunavik, Quebec. She is an advocate for her people, a creator of many things and a mother of Inuk & French Canadian children.

Olivia mostly works in the fields of reconciliation, education and Inuit self determination in the 21st century but some of her hidden passions also include writing & the arts.

As a new writer she has worked with Niap and has also won the Inuit writing category for the Éditions Hannenorak with her poems titled Nuna Poems. (mis à jour en 2021)
